Like Mother, Like Daughter

With no prompting from me, Aubrey decided she wanted her Princess Tattoos on her feet! I was worried because these Princess tattoos are actually quite large.  Well, they fit on her feet, much to Rudy's dismay!  She still doesn't understand why mine never goes away!

Mother's Day was very nice.  Since it was rainy and cold we weren't able to go to the zoo. Instead it was a low-key and lazy day!  What more could a mom want?!
Here are Aubrey and Benjamin playing with some animal masks we got from the Brookfield zoo years ago. Aubrey just recently found them and has greatly enjoyed playing and "scaring" us with them.

Benjamin's dedication on Saturday was great.  It's a humbling experience living out such an important piece of the Bible as Parents.  Just as Jesus- and many before Him- were presented to the Lord, so we presented Benjamin (and Aubrey when she was a baby) to Him.  We've committed as his parents to raise him in the way of the Lord.
Proverbs 22:6- "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
Benjamin means Mighty
His verse is: Psalm 18:35- "You have also given me the shield of your salvation; your right hand has held me up, your gentleness has made me great."
