Golf anyone?
This morning Rudy surprised Aubrey by taking her golfing.
Friday is Rudy's set tee-time. He's part of a 4-some with some other friends (John, Lance, TJ). They got a membership to a local club through our church. They've been golfing since Spring and will continue until they are told they can no longer golf due to weather.
It's been a great investment for us on so many levels.
Anyhow, two of the four guys were unable to golf today, leaving Rudy and TJ to either fill the other spots or as TJ suggested, bring the kids. Well, TJ mentioned he was going to bring Bauer and Rudy and I thought it would be just as fun to bring Aubrey. Rudy bought her golf clubs last summer and she loves putting around the yard. We didn't discuss it with Aubrey just in case the weather didn't cooperate.
So, this morning Rudy tip-toed in, woke Aubrey up by telling her she was going to the golf course with him. She rocketed out of bed! She was dressed and ready in no time.
Off they went.
A great time was had by all. She's been talking about it all day. Getting to play golf with Daddy, Bauer and Mr. TJ. She's ready for her next outing!

Bauer had a great time, too! I think he liked driving the cart better than the golf!
