Cancer Free
Cancer Free! That is the diagnosis my dad got pertaining to his prostate cancer about 2 weeks ago.
He was diagnosed early this year and did 8 weeks of radiation hoping to rid it from his body. Thankfully, it worked!
Tonight we all went to Tommy Nevin's Irish Pub to celebrate. Dad thought we were going for his birthday (which is tomorrow- Happy Birthday Dad), but really it was to celebrate more of his life, especially being cancer free! He's the best dad! I don't even know where to begin to explain how great he is as a father and a PopPop to all of us and our children.
Praise God for blessing me with him as a father and him with a clean prostate! We know that everyone diagnosed is able to celebrate the same way.
I was thinking of your Dad and praying for him. Great job to Rudy today on the race. We got on tonight to see his results. That is fantastic 7:30 pace!!!!
