Run Jenny, Oh- and Swim and Bike
Today we loaded Aubrey and Benjamin and heading to the city to watch our friend Jenny Garrison race the Pro circuit of the Accenture Triathlon (the world's largest triathlon!). We were so excited. We've never had the chance to see her race. If she's done a local tri-race, we'd always been out of town. Most of her racing is done out of state. We'd seen her race a few 5Ks, but those are nothing compared to the caliber of the race she did today.WOW! She is an amazing athlete. We've always stood in awe of her and her skills to race so well on the triathlon circuit.
Let me step back and mention, she has 2 kids. Noah- 3 years and Molly- 5 months- Yep MONTHS! With the support of her husband, Bill, family, coach, and her kids (their names are on the backside of her swimsuit-made by one of her sponsors, Splish) she endures a very grueling training to be as good as she is; along with some God-given talents! Just hearing about her training makes my legs hurt and body fatigued.
Anyhow, she did great today. Though she may debate that, we couldn't be more impressed with what we saw. She is truly one of the most gifted athletes. We're excited for where she will continue to grow in this career.
