2 Wheeler
For the past couple weeks Aubrey's been riding her bike with only 1 training wheel.
Well, let me take a step back. At the beginning of the summer Aubrey told us she wanted to ride her bike without training wheels. So, we spent 1 day trying to teach her. She wasn't really ready. Too distracted while she rode.
Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when her chain fell off her bike...Rudy had to take one of the training wheels off to replace the chain. He never put the training wheel back on so she's been riding around with only 1 training wheel.
As we watch and listen to her ride, that wheel rarely ever touched the ground.
So, today we went and played at one of the local parks with her bike in the back of the truck. We wanted to take advantage of an empty parking lot to teach her to ride without training wheels.
Once we got her bike out, she did one loop with the 1 wheel on. Again, it never touched the ground so Rudy took it off and away she went. She had no issues simply riding. She made it seem effortless.
We are very proud of her as she is of herself. She has wanted to share it with everyone today.
After we got home we all went out for a family bike ride.
