Star of the Day
Aubrey was the first in her class to be star of the day this year. She was pretty excited. As last year, we were given a star with a few questions on it to guide us. We mounted the star to some poster board and decorated it with lots of pictures and words. We needed the poster board so Aubrey could write her own words with markers. She LOVES markers...oh, and glitter glue.

Being part of her day really showed us how ready she is for kindergarten!
Aubrey got to lead the class in sentence development, their leaf projects, and journaling.
As Star of the Day she got to be line leader and snack bringer which also means a show and tell item. She brought her Polly Pocket car she just bought with her saved allowance.
Enjoy the slide show from our day. I could easily recount everything they did but that would bore you!
