F I V E
Five- that's how old Aubrey is. We still can't believe it.
We love the person she is becoming. We love watching her as a Big sister, a cousin, a friend, a daughter. We love hearing her teachers and parents use words and phrases like "Always includes others" "Enjoys life" "Laughs and smiles a lot" "Is very silly" "Is a leader" "Is generous"--to describe her. We love that God's trusted us to be her parents. We say that a lot but is something we never take for granted.
The past 5 years have gone by so quickly. We know the next 5 will be just as fast.
A- Adventurous; Her thirst for life's adventures keeps us very busy, very entertained, and very active.
U- Unforgetful- Okay, so that's not a real word but was the only way I could talk about her memory- she remembers EVERYTHING!
B- Big Sister; She loves her brother. She's very protective of him and misses him when they aren't together. (how long does this last?!)
R- Reader; She has a true LOVE for books and reading!
E- Empathetic; What a big and generous heart she has!
Y- Yum; She's a great eater and has developed our love for food! She tries everything we ask her to try and there isn't much she doesn't like in the fruits and vegetable categories.

I actually remember making that crown for her second birthday! It honestly seemed like yesterday. Ugh. Sometimes time needs to slow down. She is an amazing little girl!
